In the era of digital economy,the international trade industry has emerged with obvious characteristics of intelligent production,networked circulation,and digital consumption.This paper analyzes the new status,new positions,and new skills of international trade,lists three professional skills competitions for international trade,and clarifies the necessity of implementing the teaching mode of"integration of competition and position"in international trade course.However,there are common problems with this teaching model,such as insufficient practical experience of teachers,lack of deep school-enterprise cooperation.Therefore,this paper proposes that universities should continuously promote the reform of international trade courses by strengthening the construction of teaching staff and deepening the integration of industry and education based on clarifying the relevant teaching objectives,content,and evaluation mechanism,so as to improve students'professional quality and professional ability in international trade.
