Preliminary study on the Connotation and Implementation Path of Inclusive Childcare Service for 0-3-year-old Infants
Universal childcare services not only constitute the main theme of the development of childcare services in China, but also represent one of the government's strategic plans for establishing a comprehensive social welfare system, and are an important component of building a child-friendly society.Currently, the increasing demand for childcare services for infants and young children aged 0-3 years has drawn public attention to universal childcare. The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has put forward new requirements for the universal development of childcare services.Currently, universal childcare services for 0-3-year-old infants face challenges such as a large overall shortage of childcare services,a single form of childcare, wide disparities in fee standards, low professional levels, and a shortage of high-quality resources. The government and relevant institutions can explore implementation paths for universal childcare services by improving policies and regulations, refining evaluation standards, and innovating childcare models.
