A case of on-load tap-changer internal discharge in 220 kV main transformer is analyzed in detail.By analyzing the primary and secondary fault table and disassembly test of the on-load tap-changer,and combin-ing with the operation principle of the on-load tap-changer,the cause of internal discharge is found out accurately.
