In order to study the mechanical properties of cold-formed thin-walled C-shaped steel bending members, the cold-formed thin-walled stainless steel beam was taken as the research object, and the influence of loading conditions and span on the buckling mode and bending bearing capacity of the components was mainly studied. The results showed that the loading conditions and span of the specimen were significantly affected by the buckling mode and ultimate bearing capacity of the bending member of the cold-formed thin-walled crimped C-shaped steel, the ultimate bearing capacity of short beams under pure bending loading was up to 169.1 kN,the failure mode was distortion buckling, and the failure mode of the rest of the specimens was also distortion buckling. The calculation results of the existing direct strength method correction formula were compared with the experimental results to verify the accuracy of the formula.
