Maximum energy efficiency of radio vortex based on reconfigurable intelligent surface
With the aim of the limited energy efficiency in radio vortex communication systems,a transmission scheme for the radio vortex communication based on the reconfigurable intelligent surface was proposed.A system model for the radio vortex communications based on the reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)was established and a mathematical expression for energy efficiency was derived based on this system model.To achieve maximum energy efficiency,an alternating optimization algorithm was adopted to solve the problem.Considering the non-convex of the objective function and constraint conditions,the problem was divided into two sub problems.Specifically,the energy efficiency was maximized by separately optimizing the power allocation at the base station and the phase shift coefficient of the RIS.The numerical simulation results indicated that the energy efficiency of the radio vortex communication system can be improved by adopting the RIS,and the adopted optimization algorithm can effectively maximize energy efficiency.
