Dust emission of polyacrylamide coated modified biochar
The surface modification of biochar was carried out based on polyacrylamide(PAM)coating technology, and dust emis-sion tests were conducted to investigate the effect of PAM coating on dust emission from biochar.Taking the red soil in Xinjian district,Nanchang city as the research object, the impact of modified biochar on soil physicochemical properties and plant growth was further in-vestigated through pot experiments. The results showed that compared with the direct application of biochar, modified biochar treated with PAM coating significantly reduced dust emissions.Meanwhile, the application of biochar and modified biochar significantly increased the pH value of the soil,as well as the content of organic carbon, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and total potassium, while significantly re-duced soil bulk density.Additionally, over time, the soil improvement effect of directly applied biochar significantly weakened, with a de-crease of 8.0%to 22.9%in various indicators at 30 days, while there was no significant difference in the improvement effect of modified biochar on soil physicochemical properties before and after treatment.
