Effective adsorption of sulfur dioxide by nitrogen-doped porous carbon-loaded methylated polyethyleneimines
To solve the difficulty of processing sulfur dioxide emissions in large quantities,it was proposed to load methylated polyethyleneimine(mPEI),which is rich in tertiary amine groups, onto nitrogen-doped porous carbon(GU-1)with certain adsorption capacity for sulfur dioxide,to prepare multiple proportions of loading products(nmPEI@GU-1),and to investigate the adsorption capacity of nmPEI@GU-1 on sulfur dioxide. The results showed that under the conditions of 25 ℃ and 101.3 kPa,the adsorption capacity of nmPEI@GU-1 for sulfur dioxide reached 5.10-7.01 mmol·g-1,and the adsorption capacity of complexes for sulfur dioxide was greatly improved compared with that of the single component. As the temperature increased, the adsorption performance of the sample for sulfur dioxide gradually decreased, which conformed to the gas adsorption law.It was proved that the prepared samples had good reversible adsorption capacity for sulfur dioxide through several repetitive experiments.
