Hydrostatic support throttle with the restrictor of adaptive adjustment gap of the round table
The flow restrictor is the core element of hydrostatic support, and its pressure-flow characteristics are the key factors that determine the hydrostatic support oil film stiffness. To improve the performance of hydrostatic support,a throttle with adaptive adjustment effect using the throttling of the round table gap was proposed in this paper, which used the outlet pressure to adjust the height of the gap of the round table. When the outlet pressure increased, the height of the throttle gap increased correspondingly,so that the throttling liquid resistance of the round table gap was significantly reduced, the flow through the throttle gap of the round table increased significantly and the throttle pressure difference decreased. In this paper, the formula of the hydraulic pressure on the end face of the spool valve of the restrictor was derived, the relevant structural parameters of the flow restrictor example were given, and the pressure-flow relationship curve was obtained through theoretical calculation. To discuss its performance characteristics, the rectangular planar oil cavity unit was used as the calculation model, separately using the restrictor and a preload pre-modulated single-sided film feedback throttle(PM flow controller)developed by Hyprostatik in Germany, the pressure-flow relationship and oil film stiffness of the two were calculated and analyzed. The results showed that under the condition that the oil chamber pressure was not more than 70%of the oil supply pressure, the stiffness of the oil film supported by the hydrostatic pressure of the throttle was greater.Compared with the PM flow controller, the flow controller proposed in this paper was more compact.
