Characteristics of Bryoflora in Qiaoling Nature Reserve of Jiangxi Province and its indicative significance
Bryophytes serve as valuable ecological indicators and are crucial for assessing the habitat conditions and conser-vation value of protected areas. The bryophyte resources in Qiaoling Nature Reserve were investigated, and the bryoflora and its location in China were analyzed.A total of 186 bryophyte species were identified, including 142 species of Bryophyta in 66 genera and 33 families,43 species of Marchantiophyta in 25 genera and 19 families, and a single species of Anthocerotophyta. The spe-cies ratio of Bryophyta to Marchantiophyta was 3.30,indicating a slightly dry overall environment. The top three floristic compo-nents and their proportions were East Asia(32.80%),Tropical Asia(19.35%),and North Temperate(17.74%).The species of temperate distributed type were dominant in dominant families, while some typical tropical distribution species were preserved in local microhabitats, such as the sporadic records of Plagiomnium elimbatum worldwide. This indicated that these low-altitude habitats in the middle subtropical region have potential conservation value.Based on the model cluster analysis and the hierarchi-cal cluster analysis,Qiaoling and most of the protected areas in Jiangxi Province can be classified into the new"Central China Region",while Taohongling in northeast Jiangxi can be incorporated into the new"East China Region".
