Interfacial shear characteristics of tailings filling geotextile tubes
The safety and stability of the mold bag dam are closely related to the interface strength of the mold bag.Based on ABAQUS finite element analysis software, the interface model of the geotextile tubes was established for shear test simulation. The shear stress, shear displacement variation law and the influence of different sizes on the interface shear strength during the shear process of the geotextile tubes interface were analyzed. The numerical simulation results were compared with the indoor shear test results. The results showed that the interfacial shear of the geotextile tubes was a progressive yield failure process and the plastic deformation in the middle of the shear plane was the largest.Numerical simulation can better reflect the shear de-formation law of the geotextile tubes. The shear strength of the interface of the large-size geotextile tubes was higher than that of the small-size mold bag,and it was mainly reflected in the increase of the interface friction angle.During the shearing process, the interface shear stress of the large-size geotextile tubes has an obvious peak value and the strain softening phenomenon oc-curs.The conclusion has certain guiding significance for the dam construction of tailings filling the geotextile tubes in the pro-ject.
