Enzyme-free colorimetric sensor for rapid detection of malathion based on Ni-based materials
The enzyme-free colorimetric sensor was designed for the rapid detection of malathion based on NiBM.In the presence of NiBM,3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine can be oxidized to blue oxidized TMB.When malathion was present, the pre-pared NiBM can bind with malathion because of the high affinity between the Ni element and the sulfur moiety in malathion,re-sulting in the oxidation of TMB inhibited by malathion. The enzyme-free malathion sensor exhibits excellent stability and good performance under optimal experimental conditions, with a linear range of malathion from 0 to 100 ng·mL-1 and a detection limit as low as 7.8 ng·mL-1.The preparation of NiBM was simple and economic, and the proposed sensor provides a promising technique for rapid and sensitive determination of organophosphorus pesticides in complex matrix.
