基于语料库的逻辑联系语and/And的研究

摘要
逻辑联系语在语篇的连贯中起着重要的作用。以往的研究显示,逻辑联系语的用法对于学习者尤其是外语学习者来说较难掌握。本文运用语料库的中介语对比分析的研究方法,对我国英语学习者和英语本族语者英语写作中逻辑联系语and/And使用情况进行对比分析。本研究主要依赖两个语料库,分别为中国英语学习者语料库以及英语本族语语料库,借助于语料库检索工具Antconc以及其它分析工具进行数据的统计和分析。
Abstract
Logical connective plays an important role in the cohesion of English discourse. The past research shows that it is difficult for the learners, especially for EFL learners, to master the usage of logical connectives. This paper aims at discovering the differences of the use of and/And as logical connective between Chinese EFL learners and the English native speakers. In this research,the methodology of corpus-based analysis and Contrastive Interlanguage Analysis （CIA） are adopted and two corpora are employed：CLEC （Chinese Learner English Corpus） and Brown corpus （the native speakers＂ corpus）.With the help of the searching tools Antconc and other statistical tools,the search items can be carefully examined and analyzed.
