摘要
本文以影片《安娜与国王》为研究素材,从跨文化交际学角度分析了以古暹罗国为代表的东方文化与西方文化相遇时由于等级观念与平等观念、时间概念、领地意识、面子观念等价值观的差异所产生的文化冲突,进一步揭示消除文化歧视和偏见、培养自己的文化敏感性和对异文化的包容性的重要性。
Abstract
The values originates in humans mode of thoughts, especially in their view of the world. In fact, the values are the core of any culture, especially communicative culture. In the intercultural communication, people from different nations and cultures must hold different concept of values. So the thesis tries to, from the perspective of intercultural communication, analyze the cultural conflicts in the film Anna and King caused by different cultural values such as sense of hierarchy and equality, sense of time, sense of territoriality and conceptualization of face when the eastern culture represented by Siam and western culture come into collision. Through the analysis the author hopes to demonstrate the significance of the elimination of cultural discrimination and prejudice and cultivation of cultural sensitivity and alien culture with more inclusiveness.
