Detection and Risk Assessment Analysis of Pesticide Residues in Cowpeas
A total of 389 pesticide residues were detected in 120 cowpea samples and 273 corresponding soil samples from six regions in northwest China.The results showed that 34 pesticide residues were detected in cowpea.In the batch of cowpea,the pesticide residues of chlorpyrifos,abamectin,emamectin benzoate,clothianidin and acetamiprid exceeded the standard.42 pesticide residues were detected in cowpea soil,among which clethodim and chlorfenapyr were detected in cowpea and its corresponding soil.Although the detection value was not high,it indicated that there were still illegal use of pesticides.The results showed that daily intake of cowpea through diet may pose a risk to human health,and the monitoring of cowpea should be strengthened in supervision.
