The Analysis of Physical Quality of Multi Specification Cigarettes Blended with Different Forms of Cut Stem
In order to explore the adaptability of different cigarette specifications to the morphology of cut stems,three cut stems were prepared using different processes and mixed in the same proportion into three cigarette specifications(conventional,slim and super slim).The conventional physical indicators,rolling adaptability indicators and cigarette burning characteristics indicators were tested,and the physical quality differences of cigarette mixed with different morphology of cut stems were compared and analyzed.The results showed that:①There was a little difference in the structure of cut stem between thin pressed and rolled cut stem,and the whole silk rate was lower than that of conventional stem,while the broken silk rate was the opposite;The filling value and elasticity of cut stem showed a trend,conventional>thin pressed thin>rolled cut stem,with a range of elasticity reaching 14.89% .②For conventional cigarettes,the cigarettes mixed with conventional cut stem had good hardness stability,while the cigarettes with rolled cut stem had higher draw resistance and better overall ventilation stability,and there was no significant difference in other physical qualities;The weight deviation,open draw resistance deviation,and total ventilation deviation of slim cigarettes mixed with thin pressed cut stems was small;The standard deviation of various conventional physical quality indicators for super slim cigarettes mixed with roller cut stem was the smallest.③The conventional cigarettes mixed with thin pressed cut stem had the lowest end content and end cut silk content,the best density consistency,while the slim and super slim cigarettes mixed with rolled cut stem had the best density consistency.④The difference in dynamic combustion rate and dynamic draw resistance standard deviation between conventional cigarettes mixed with different cut stem were not significant.As the circumference of the cigarette decreased,the dynamic combustion rate and consistency of dynamic draw resistance distribution for slim and super slim cigarettes mixed with thin pressed and rolled cut stem increased;The better stability of the dynamic combustion rate were conventional,thin pressed,and rolled cut stem,the better tendency to fall off were rolled cut stem,thin pressed thin cut stem,and roller cut stem for conventional,slim,and super slim cigarettes,the conventional and super slim cigarettes mixed with rolled cut stem were significantly lower than the other two.
