Research on the Extraction,Identification and Repair Efficacy of Polysaccharides from Dendrobium officinale
The powder samples of Dendrobium officinale polysaccharide were obtained from fresh Dendrobium officinale stems by water extraction and ethanol precipitation. The molecular weight of the polysaccharide were tested by high performance gel permeation chromatography, and the monosaccharide composition was determined by ion chromatography. The results showed that the extraction rate of polysaccharides from fresh stems of Dendrobium officinale by water extraction and alcohol precipita-tion method was about 23.45%,with a molecular weight(Mw)of about 410 000 Da accounting for more than 94%,and the remaining molecular weights of about 3 500 Da.Among them, the content of mannose was about 66%,and the content of glucose was about 12.87%.It could significantly promote the healing rate of cell scratches, indicating that it has excellent re-pair effects.
