Exploring a Comprehensive Talent Cultivation Model for Food-related Professions in the Context of New Agricultural Sciences
The construction of new agricultural disciplines(New Agriculture)is an inevitable direction for the reform and de-velopment of higher education.As an important part of the agricultural industry,the food industry plays a vital role in advanc-ing the industrialization of agriculture in China.This paper explores the implementation of the New Agriculture project,lever-aging the advantages of educational institutions.It aims to optimize and innovate the talent cultivation model and objectives for food-related majors;build a curriculum system focused on foundational knowledge,strong application,and interdisciplinary integration;promote industry-academia collaboration;establish a second classroom model and mechanism that strengthens student abilities;and optimize faculty configuration to build a"dual-qualified"teaching team.Through these efforts,the col-laboration between schools and food enterprises will foster joint talent development and shared outcomes,creating a new model for cultivating interdisciplinary,comprehensive talent in food-related disciplines under the New Agriculture framework.
