This article analyzed and discusses the teaching reform and practice of the graduate course Research Progress in Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products based on the construction of new engineering disciplines.Research Progress in Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products was a professional elective course for professional degree graduates in the field of food processing and safety.It was a bridge and link for students to master basic theoretical knowledge and go deep into fac-tory and enterprise practice.Through the teaching reform and practice of the graduate course Research Progress in Agricultural Product Storage and Processing,highlight case teaching,integrate the practical teaching of product development of character-istic agricultural product storage and processing,improved the comprehensive utilization ability of by-products,extend the in-dustrial chain,etc.,use heuristic teaching to broaden students'thinking,adopting the"role exchange"approach,and culti-vate graduate students'ability to consult literature,comprehensively analyzed and solve problems,effectively enhancing the innovation ability of professional degree graduate students.
