Clinacanthus nutans is a wild vegetable with medicinal value,which is widely used in Malaysia and is also used in Guangdong and Hainan in China.Its main active ingredients are substances such as flavonoids,saponins and polysaccharides,which have antioxidant,antibacterial and anticancer properties.In this paper,the studies on the pharmacological effects of Cli-nacanthus nutans in recent years were reviewed in the hope of providing reference for the mechanism research and exploitation.
