Teaching Reform of the Food Standards and Regulations Course for National and Industry Needs
With the expansion of world population and the growing food crisis,the demand for outstanding food professionals with both ability and integrity is increasing.Faced with the complex and ever-changing international situation,what talents to cultivate and how to cultivate them must be linked to national needs and industry development.Food Standards and Regulations is a compulsory course for undergraduate students majoring in food,which contains a large number of course elements related to professional ethics,legal beliefs,and scientific attitudes.It can be served as the best"starting point"for humanities edu-cation in food professional courses.This article took Food Standards and Regulations as the carrier,and optimized the design of teaching activities from three perspectives:improving teacher quality,students'autonomous learning,and classroom teaching reform.This could not only makes course education more infectious and persuasive,but also served as a supplement and en-hancement to existing professional education courses in food majors and maximize classroom functions.
