Application of talk show of popular science in clinical teaching of operating room nursing
Objective To study the application effect of talk show of popular science in clinical teaching of operating room nursing.Methods Nursing undergraduates who completed clinical practice in the operating room of our hospital were selected from April,2022 to March,2023 and randomly divided into control group and observation group.Traditional teaching was performed in the control group,and creation and live performance of talk show of popular science were required in the observation group in addition to traditional teaching.The theoretical and operational assessment results,perceived professional benefits and student satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The score of theoretical examination,operational examination and perceived professional benefits in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group and students were more satisfied with the teaching in the observation group,showing significant difference(P<0.05).The investigation of perceived professional benefits showed that the score of self-growth,positive occupational perception,patient identity and team belonging was significantly higher in the observation group than that in the control group,indicating significant difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the dimension of relative identity between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The creation and live performance of talk show of popular science in clinical teaching of operating room nursing is effective.It strengthens the theoretical and operational performance of the interns,and significantly improves the sense of professional benefits and teaching satisfaction,which is worthy of further promotion in clinical teaching.
