Objective To investigate the current status of organizational citizenship behavior(OCB)among clinical nurses and analyze its influencing factors. Methods A total of 2,050 clinical nurses in 3 tertiary grade-A hospitals in Xinjiang from March to June 2023 were selected by convenient sampling. They were surveyed by using the general information questionnaire,Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale,Colleague Solidarity of Nurses'Scale, and Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index. Results The score of OCB of the sample was 96.92±11.07.There was positive correlation between OCB and the total score of nurse solidarity and nursing work environment(r=0.546,r=0.433,all P<0.01);Multiple linear regression analysis showed that educational background, marital status, professional title, nurse solidarity, and nursing work environment entered the regression equation(P<0.01),accounting for 35.2%of the total variance. Conclusion The OCB of clinical nurses in tertiary grade-A hospitals is at a moderate to high level.Factors that influence OCB include educational background, marital status, professional title, nurse solidarity, and nursing work environment. It is suggested that nursing managers should pay timely attention to the interpersonal relationship between nurses, actively create a harmonious atmosphere to improve the"soft"working environment, and thereby promote the level of OCB among nurses.
