Best evidence summary for perioperative nursing management of enhanced recovery after surgery in robotic surgery for gastric cancer
Objective To retrieve, evaluate and integrate the best evidence for perioperative nursing management of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)in robotic surgery for gastric cancer and to provide reference for clinical practice. Methods Clinical decisions, best practice recommendations, clinical guidelines and expert consensus related to perioperative nursing management of ERAS in robotic surgery for gastric cancer were systematically searched from relevant databases and professional websites at home and abroad by evidence-based nursing method. The retrieval period is from the inception to April 16 2023.Literature quality evaluation and data screening were completed by 2 researchers. Results A total of 12 articles were collected, including 2 clinical decisions,3 guidelines, and 7 expert consensuses.Finally,36 best pieces of evidence were extracted from 7 aspects including the nursing process of perioperative EARS,anesthesia evaluation and methods, nutrition management, intraoperative system management and fault handling, and team training. Conclusion By summarizing perioperative nursing management of ERAS in robotic surgery for gastric cancer, this study provides evidence-based evidence for nursing workers to promote the combination of perioperative nursing management of robotic surgery for gastric cancer with ERAS and promote the rapid recovery of patients.
