How Does the Spatial Network Embeddedness of Overseas Parks affect Benefit Sharing of"The Belt and Road":Based on the Perspective of Added Value
Achieving benefit sharing of"The Belt and Road"is of paramount importance in advancing the initiative's high-quality development. The efficient establishment of overseas parks plays a vital role in achieving mutual benefits along"The Belt and Road".Based on the perspective of added value,"The Belt and Road"benefit sharing indicator system has been con-structed from three dimensions which are added value, value chain status and technical level. After discussing the theoretical mechanism of network embeddedness of overseas parks on benefit sharing of"The Belt and Road",the centrality degree and structural hole are calculated by social network analysis to measure the degree of overseas parks spatial network embedded-ness.Then,we use the fixed effects model to conduct empirical research. The results show that:firstly, the network embedded-ness of"The Belt and Road"overseas parks achieves the benefit sharing of"The Belt and Road"by improving added value and technological level.Secondly, network embeddedness in East Asia achieves benefit sharing by increasing added value, value chain position and technological level.Network embeddedness in the regions of South Asia and Eastern Europe has sig-nificantly increased added value and technological level. In Central and West Asia, the added value and technological level are improved by centrality degree.Thirdly, network embeddedness of overseas parks significantly improves the added value, value chain position and technological level in the strongly cooperative zone. The centrality degree within the potential cooper-ative zone facilitates benefit sharing by increasing both the added value and technological advancement.Fourthly, the centrali-ty degree of overseas parks within"The Belt and Road initiative"plays a stronger role in enhancing the added value and tech-nological level of developing countries. The proposal of"The Belt and Road initiative"strengthens the positive impact of over-seas parks network embeddedness on the added value and technological level. This study establishes a theoretical foundation to facilitate benefit sharing of"The Belt and Road"through the establishment of overseas parks.Additionally,it proposes a scientifically feasible implementation strategy to accomplish this goal.
