下游企业数字化可以牵引上游企业绿色创新吗?——基于供应链溢出的视角

当前提高企业绿色创新水平要重点关注数字技术创新应用与产业链供应链关联主体的溢出效应.文章基于中国上市公司客户和供应商逐一匹配的供应链条和企业绿色技术与数字技术专利大数据,首次从产业关联的视角考察了下游企业数字化转型影响上游企业绿色创新的微观机理.研究发现,下游企业数字化转型有利于牵引上游企业绿色创新,特别是当上游企业规模较大、具有国有性质、知识存量较为丰富,或其所在行业市场竞争度较高、需求量较大、污染密集度较高时,下游企业数字化转型对其绿色创新的牵引作用更为显著.机制分析表明,下游企业数字化转型有利于促进上游企业提高数字技术创新能力和数字技术与绿色技术融合创新能力,进而牵引上游企业绿色创新.进一步分析表明,在下游企业数字化转型后向溢出效应的影响下,上游企业绿色创新活动不仅数量增加而且质量提升;不仅对企业策略性创新产生"挤出效应",而且对实质性创新产生"杠杆效应";但在现有阶段,上游企业绿色创新主要还是集中在生产的过程管控和末端治理环节,还未深入到从根本上解决污染问题的源头预防阶段.文章研究结论为数字经济时代建立市场导向的绿色技术创新体系和推动数字化绿色化协同发展提供了经验证据和政策启示.
Does Downstream Digitalization Lead to Green Innovation in Upstream Enterprises——Based on the Perspective of Supply Chain Spillover
At present,improving the level of green innovation in enterprises should focus on the spillover effects of digital technology innovation applications and the related entities in the industrial chain and supply chain.This article is based on the supply chain and big data of enterprise green technology and digital technology patents that match customers and suppli-ers of Chinese listed companies one by one.For the first time,it examines the micro mechanism of the impact of downstream enterprise digital transformation on upstream enterprise green innovation from the perspective of industry correlation.Re-search has found that digital transformation of downstream enterprises is beneficial for driving green innovation in upstream enterprises,especially when upstream enterprises are large in scale,state-owned,have rich knowledge stock,or have high market competition,high demand,and pollution intensity in their industries.The digital transformation of downstream enter-prises has a more significant driving effect on their green innovation.Mechanism analysis shows that the digital transformation of downstream enterprises is conducive to promoting the improvement of digital technology innovation capabilities and the in-tegration of digital technology and green technology innovation capabilities of upstream enterprises,thereby driving green in-novation in upstream enterprises.Further analysis shows that under the influence of spillover effects after the digital transfor-mation of downstream enterprises,the green innovation activities of upstream enterprises not only increase in quantity but also improve in quality;Not only does it generate a"crowding out effect"on strategic innovation of enterprises,but it also gen-erates a"leverage effect"on substantive innovation;However,at the current stage,green innovation in upstream enterprises is mainly concentrated in the production process control and end of pipe governance,and has not yet penetrated into the preven-tion stage of fundamentally solving pollution problems at the source.The research conclusion of this article provides empirical evidence and policy inspiration for establishing a market-oriented green technology innovation system and promoting the coor-dinated development of digital and green technologies in the digital economy era.
