Research on the Response Mechanism of Farmers to Collaborative Governance of Food Safety in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area
Implementing Bay Area standards is an important measure to promote collaborative governance of food safety in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.Collaborative governance of food safety in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area cannot be achieved without the active response of farmers.This study starts from the theory of planned behavior and explores the willingness of farmers to produce standard agricultural products in the Bay Area through field research data,revealing the response mechanism of farmers.Research has found that farmers'behavioral attitudes,subjective norms,and perceived behavioral control significantly affect their willingness to produce;The degree of agreement among farmers towards the implementation of the Bay Area standards is the key factor determining their willingness to produce;The endowment of farmers plays an important role in their willingness to produce.Therefore,external regulations should be used to constrain farmers'production behavior,strengthen production technology guidance and economic support,improve farmers'cognitive level,and fully leverage the demonstration and driving role of production bases and platforms in food safety collaborative governance.
