Mobility and Empowerment:The Mechanism and Effects of Migrant Working Experience on the Young Rural Women's Entrepreneurship and Performance-An Empirical Study Based on CFPS Data
Entrepreneurship among rural young women is crucial for female empowerment and self-growth.This study,based on CFPS 2018-2020,explores the effect of migrant working experience on the probability and performance of entrepreneurship among rural young women,the mediating role of psychological capital is also examined.Key findings include:(1)Migrant working experience significantly increases the likelihood of entrepreneurship but does not enhance entrepreneurial performance.The quality of migrant working positively affects the probability and income of entrepreneurship with an educational threshold effect;(2)The positive effects of migrant working experience on entrepreneurship probability is most pronounced among women aged 26-34 in the eastern regions;(3)Psychological capital partially mediates the effect of migrant working quality on entrepreneurship probability,which even meditate more effectively in the effects of migrant working experience on entrepreneurship probability;(4)Psychological capital also partially mediates the effect of migrant working quality on entrepreneurial performance.
