Innovative Exploration of the "Sui-Bi Model" in Collaborative Development of Industry and Education for High-Skilled Talents
Collaborative development between eastern and western regions is a sustained national strategy to prevent former poverty-stricken areas from falling back into poverty and to achieve common prosperity.Integration of industry and education is crucial for vocational colleges to cultivate high-skilled talents and adapt to regional economic industries. The effectiveness of industry-education integration across four dimensions—regional economy, regional resources, regional industries, and regional talents—demonstrates the value and significance of education and science.Against this backdrop, under the overall deployment framework of Guangzhou's targeted assistance to Bijie City in Guizhou Province, vocational colleges are fully integrating talent cultivation with industrial upgrading, innovating the"Sui-Bi Model"for high-skilled talent cultivation, and strongly supporting the revitalization of rural areas in western mountainous regions. However, examining the"Sui-Bi Model"from the perspective of collaborative development between eastern and western regions, the authors still found prominant constraints. In the construction of regional industry-education consortia under the collaborative development between eastern and western regions,it is necessary to strengthen government-led efforts to promote the multi-subject rooted symbiosis of"government, schools, enterprises, communities, and villages,"and actively explore effective paths for sustainable development through consensus-building and mechanism innovation.
