The Resonance for Modernity of Chinese Educational Anthropology:Based on Literature Review from the 16th IUAES-WAU World Anthropology Congress
The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)has made a special chapter deploy-ment on"implementing the strategy for invigorating China through science and education,and strengthening the talent support for mod-ernization construction,"highlighting the close connection between education and modernization construction.Since the 16th IUAES-WAU World Anthropology Congress held in 2009,over a decade has passed,during which Chinese scholars of educational anthropology have delved deep into the educational system and a wide range of educational practices,which have formed a distinct resonance under the theme of modernity.The overall characteristics can be summarized in the following four points:1.Promoting the paradigm transfor-mation in ethnic education research;2.Providing theoretical interpretation of ethnic education to advance Chinese-style modernization and to forge a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation;3.Responding to the issue of modernity in educational changes by focu-sing on three aspects:education in rural area and mobile society,the interaction between organizational systems and self-expression,and the changes in spiritual aspects;4.Facilitating the steady development of e discipline construction.
