Influence of different base adhesives on the performance of hydrogen permeable EVAC/polyvinyl alcohol system
Based on the needs of hydrogen safety monitoring and testing,a hydrogen-permeable rubber material was developed in this paper, the hydrogen permeable colloid was taken as the research object, its main components were composite silicon material matrix and hydrogen permeable additives, and the compound matrix and toughening system of ethylene-vinyl acetate random copolymer and polyvinyl alcohol were adjusted.50/50(% )of the composite matrix(ethylene-vinyl acetate random copolymer+polyvinyl alcohol)were added to the elastomer toughening agent maleic anhydride grafted ethylene propylene diene diene diene rubber(EPDM-g-MAH),maleic anhydride grafted ethylene-octene copolymer(POE-g-MAH),maleic anhydride grafted hydrostyrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer(SEBS-g-MAH),toughening resin metallocene polyethylene(mPE)with good toughness and low modulus and rigid particle calcium carbonate. To explore the effects of different toughener systems on the mechanical properties of hy-drogen permeable systems. The results showed that the performance of the composite silica gel matrix was the best when it was 50/50(% ),and the elastomer toughener had a significant effect on the mechanical properties of the hy-drogen permeable system, followed by mPE,and the appropriate use of rigid particles can also play a role in strengthening and toughening the system.
