Preparation and properties of modified adhesive for splicing asphalt surface course with high temperature resistance
To optimize the quality of asphalt surface layer splicing construction in expansion projects, the prepara-tion and performance analysis of high-temperature resistant adhesives for asphalt surface layer splicing in expansion projects was proposed.Boron-modified phenolic resin, solid carboxy-nitrile butadiene rubber and other materials were used to prepare high-temperature adhesive samples for asphalt surface course splicing of expansion projects, and samples with solid carboxy-nitrile butadiene rubber mixture with mass fractions of 8%,12% and 16% were pre-pared respectively, and the high-temperature resistance and application effect of different samples were determined by means of high-temperature aging and thermal performance testing. Results showed that the viscosity of the sam-ple with a mass fraction of 16% of the mixed rubber decreased rapidly at high temperatures and could not maintain stable heat resistance,However, when the mass fraction of the mixed rubber was 12%,it had higher tensile shear strength and could avoid significant mass loss at higher temperatures. Therefore, adding 12% carboxyl nitrile mixed rubber adhesive has better practical applicability.
