Research on the energy absorption and seismic reduction effect of synthetic concrete with waste rubber powder for railway roadbeds
In order to improve the shock absorption effect of railway subgrade, foam synthetic concrete has good energy absorption and shock absorption effect, and has good effect in subgrade backfill applications such as railways and high-ways,and the development of foam synthetic concrete with excellent performance is of great significance to the devel-opment of railways and other transportation. In this experiment,a kind of foam synthetic concrete was developed with waste rubber powder and polyester fiber as the main modified materials, and its performance was investigated. The test results showed that when 8% waste rubber powder and 0.2% polyester fiber were added, the comprehensive per-formance of foam synthetic concrete was better. At this time, the compressive strength of the material was 2.53 MPa,the elastic modulus was 985.5 MPa,and the water pressure of the material was 0.33 MPa.The developed foam synthet-ic concrete has excellent performance and can be applied to subgrade filling applications such as railways.
