"Empathy"serves as a robust pillar for"consensus".An ideological discourse capable of genuinely convincing people requires not only material support but also emotional support,with the latter being more stable and enduring.The whole-process people's democracy,as an exemplary mod-el rooted in genuine emotions,concrete actions,and tangible results,exhibits powerful ideological functions and becomes an emotional support for socialist ideological discourse.At the level of power attribution,the whole-process people's democracy addresses the needs of the people;at the level of democratic participation,it aligns with the aspirations of the people;at the level of democratic effi-ciency,it fulfills the desires of the people.Consequently,it consolidates a broad social consensus,allowing socialist ideological discourse to be emotionally presented.Looking ahead,the construction of an ideological discourse system rooted in the whole-process people's democracy should focus on meet-ing the democratic demands of the people,satisfying their democratic expectations,and safeguarding their democratic rights.This can be achieved by enhancing the appeal,cohesion,and recognition of ideological discourse through an empathetic approach to the people.
