Historical materialism provides a fundamental perspective for understanding and compre-hending Chinese-style modernization in the new era.From the viewpoint of historical materialism,the Communist Party of China,leading the Chinese people,has fostered a unique form of modernization with five prominent characteristics:the high unity of theory and practice,the high unity of common features and Chinese characteristics,the high unity of individual dynamism and societal synergy,the high unity of the Marxist"soul"and the"root"of excellent traditional Chinese culture,and the high unity of universal human values and core socialist values.A profound understanding of these distinc-tive characteristics of Chinese-style modernization in the new era helps us more independently,con-sciously,and confidently innovate and expand this path,comprehensively advancing the great rejuve-nation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization.
