The development of the human-nature relationship follows a dialectical harmony-opposi-tion-harmony process, described as the negation of the negation.Western modernization,character-ized by the triumph of"rationality"over nature, negated the initial harmony of human and nature that existed in pre-modern times—a harmony constrained by low levels of productivity and divine in-tervention.However,this negation placed the human-nature relationship within the framework of capi-tal accumulation, leading to a state of opposition between humans and nature. The Chinese-style mod-ernization,however,liberates the human-nature relationship from the constraints of capital accumula-tion through a dialectical adaption of the Western model.By prioritizing"people-centered"develop-ment over"anthropocentrism,"promoting the concept of"a community of life for man and nature"over the dualistic opposition, and emphasizing"green development"over"black development,"the Chinese-style modernization achieves an advanced harmony that embodies the dialectical coexistence of humans and nature, and marks the creation of a new form of human civilization.
