Political security is fundamental to national security.Digital imperialism,as the latest form of imperialism,increasingly impacts the political security of countries around the world as it seeks to dominate globally.Driven by the monopolistic logic of digital capital,the expansionist logic of cyberspace,and the controlling logic of ideology,digital imperialism presents three significant risks to political security:First,the deliberation of the"digital divide"by digital capital poses a threat to the ruling authority of political parties.Second,the misuse of digital technology as a mili-tary weapon undermines national sovereignty in cyberspace.Third,the digital dissemination of neolib-eralism erodes ideological security.To prevent and mitigate the political security risks posed by digi-tal imperialism,China must enhance the Party's governance capacity to consolidate its ruling authori-ty,optimize cyberspace governance to safeguard national sovereignty in cyberspace,and strengthen ideological leadership by forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.These efforts are crucial in building an effective barrier against political security risks.
