Effect of Training and Pruning to Growth and Yield of High-grafting Newhall Navel Orange LUO Hui et al
To improve the yield of Newhall Navel Orange low-yield orchard, training and pruning measure was used in this experiment. The studying results showed that the Newhall Navel Orange orchard yield was improved apparently because of applying training and pruning measure every year, especially the effect was most significant in the third year. Training and pruning, which is an important reforming measure to low- yield orchard, is worth to extension vigorously.
