Project-based teaching advocates for competency-based and student-centered teaching,serving as an important carrier of application-oriented undergraduate talents training.Under the background of the construction of new engineering and new liberal arts,applied undergraduate university should grasp the opportunity of the new era and deepen the reform of project-based teaching.In order to explore the development process of project teaching and explore the new direction of project teaching reform,firstly,the theoretical development process of project teaching was analyzed based on the definition of project teaching.Then the ups and downs promotion process of project teaching in China was describedand summarized three innovative models of project-based teaching:blended project-based teaching,multi-agent cooperation project-based teaching and concept implantation project-based teaching.Finally,combined with the practice of applied undergraduate education,using Nanjing Institute of Technology as an example,it analyzes the iterative e-volution stages from project teaching 1.0 to 3.0,proposing advanced ideas for the reform of project-based teaching in terms of"in-tegrating engineering and humanities"in professional scope and"diverse integration"in method models.This aims to provide decision-making references for further promoting the high-quality development of applied talent cultivation.
