Thirty years of professional education in social work and more than ten years of professional exploration have laid a solid foun-dation for the development of professional advantages in social work.Under the background of promoting the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity,social work needs to give full play to its professional advantages in three aspects:concept and value,method and skill,ability and accomplishment,which is an inevitable requirement for deepening community governance level,satisfying people's yearning for a better life,promoting the development of social work career and innovating social governance.In order to further improve the professional level of social work,guided by the ideology of party social work,guided by the operation of social service projects and guided by the path of professional development,it is feasible to constantly respond to the pain points and difficult problems in social governance.Social work should leverage its comparative advantages and collaborate with various forces to provide strong support for the shift in the focus of social governance,making social work an indispensable force in the modernization of the na-tional governance system and governance capacity.
