Green technology innovation is an important way to reduce carbon emissions.At the same time,more and more enterprises are making digital changes with the help of emerging information technology to bring new opportunities for green technology innovation.The paper analyzes the mechanism of enterprises'digital transformation affecting green technology innovation from internal governance,commercial credit financing and human capital and conducts a series of empirical tests using A-share listed companies in China from 2007 to 2020.The study shows that digital transformation of enterprises has a positive impact on the green technology innovation ability by improving the internal governance level,improving the commercial credit financing ability and optimizing the human capital struc-ture.Further analysis shows that digital transformation not only promotes the quantity of green technological innovation of enterprises,but also has a significant positive impact on the quality of green technological innovation.The impact of enterprise digital transforma-tion on green technology innovation is more significant in state-owned enterprises,large enterprises and non-heavy polluting industries.
