Accelerating the informatization of higher education is an important measure to promote deep transformations within the field,enhance the quality of talent cultivation,and advance the strategy of developing a quality workforce.Using CiteSpace software to analyze the current research status and development trends in the field of higher education informatization in China,this study finds that current research hotspots focus mainly on informatization,university faculty,big data,information technology,etc.To advance the modernization of Chinese higher education,efforts should be made to strengthen the guiding role of informatization policies,deepen research on the intrinsic development of informatization in higher education,conduct multi-perspective studies,and uphold the unity of knowledge and practice,combining theoretical research with practical application.
