Highly Accurate Self-calibration System for Plot Seeders
At present, the precise control of plot row lengths and intervals is particularly critical in the process of sowing seeds in plot breeding trials, for which the commonly used control methods are Beidou positioning system control and en-coder control. However, the current civil BeiDou positioning module, after differential processing, basically receives sig-nals sent by BeiDou satellites at a frequency of only 20 Hz,resulting in the entire control process not being continuous.According to the basic principle of the encoder, the control accuracy is lower than that of the Beidou satellite, but the in-terval between the two pulses sent by the encoder is lower than the frequency received by the Beidou positioning system. In this way the encoder and the Beidou positioning system are integrated with each other to design a high-clearance self-calibration system for plot seeders. The results of extensive field trials show that the plot seeder self-calibration system is able to control the plot length error accuracy to within 0.67%,which is a significant improvement over the traditional en-coder and BeiDou positioning mode.
