A Research on Characteristics of China＇s Innovation-oriented Development Path
The rapid take-off of China＇s economy and modernization process has caused a profound change in contemporary economic and political situation,which prompts scholars,especially Western scholars in the first place,to reflect on the profound driving forces behind this historical change.With regards of China＇s development path,there arose a theoretical paradigm and academic debate entitled ＂China model＂.This paper argues that,despite the peculiarity of China＇s development path,it is still too early to label it as ＂China model＂.China＇s development path has its own inevitability and contingency factors,successful development experience,as well as demands for improvements and deepening reforms.An overview of reform and development in China in the past decades reveals that innovation-orientation is the typical characteristics of China＇s development path.The innovation system covers theoretical innovation,institutional innovation and technological innovation,which is the driving force not only in the formation of China＇s development path,but also towards maturity and perfection.
