The big data strategy is an important factor in promoting the new quality productivity development,which is critical for enterprises to achieve a virtual-to-physical transition.Taking listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen A shares from 2007 to 2022 as samples,this paper elucidates the relationship between the big data strategy and enterprises'new quality productivity development through quasi natural experiments.Research results indicate that the big data strategy significantly enhances enter-prises'new quality productivity.A mechanism analysis shows that the big data strategy enhances enterprises'new quality pro-ductivity development by promoting knowledge sharing.Furthermore,a moderation effect analysis shows that the involvement of data elements and financial availability positively moderate the promotion effects of big data strategy on enterprises'new quality productivity.Therefore,in the future,it is necessary to improve the incentive mechanism for big data strategy and knowledge sha-ring,and to increase the participation of data elements and financial elements to promote enterprises'new quality productivity de-velopment.
