Young Students'Political Socialization under Digital Technology:A Political Communication Perspective
Digital technology development pushes forward the political communication method innovation,injecting an unprece-dented vitality and complexity into young students'political socialization process.This paper probes into how digital technology reshapes the political communication landscape through communication subject empowerment,communication effectiveness en-hancement,and targeted communication facilitation.However,supervening challenges emerge comprehensively,such as informa-tion overload and cognitive differentiation intensification,lowering efficiency in political participation and prominent value con-flicts.More issues would also include intensified information cocoons and group polarization risks.They all profoundly influence young students'political beliefs,value orientations,and political participation.Under the guidance of the principle of"technolo-gy for good",it is imperative for governments,mass media,universities,and other multi-stakeholders to establish a comprehen-sive institutional framework system through collaboration.In additional,efforts should be made to strengthen digital communica-tion capabilities,and to optimize the information communication ecology.They also need to innovate ideological and political edu-cation models,and to enhance youth students'political literacy and participation capabilities.These young people's political so-cialization is advanced in a healthy,comprehensive,and orderly manner amidst this digital wave.
