Simulation analysis of operation reliability of typical automatic rifle in salt spray environment
In order to quantify the effect of a salt spray environment on the combat technical effectiveness and operational performance of automatic rifles,the reliability prediction of automatic rifles in a salt spray environment is realized.To research the action reliability of the automaton in the salt fog environment of a small-caliber automatic rifle,a set of simulation-based gun action reliability analysis method is constructed.ADAMS software is employed to establish the virtual prototype model of the automaton,and the random influence parameters of the salt fog environment are introduced into the virtual prototype model,then Latin hypercube sampling method is used to conduct sampling and reliability simulation calculation.The reliability result obtained by simulation is 96.60%,basically consistent with the test results.The virtual prototype simulation model and action reliability analysis method can predict the action reliability results of the automaton in a salt spray environment.This research method predicts on the basis of a small sample size,reduces the calculation time,and provides a reference for the reliability analysis of firearms in a salt spray environment.
