Study on the influencing factors of fragment formation of charge structure with regulator
To effectively improve the fracture position of the shell and produce large mass fragments with regular shape,a new type of fragment warhead structure was designed, composing of the shell charge and the detonation regulator embedded in it.And the influence of the structural parameters of the detonation regulator on the output of fragments was analyzed. The process of fragment formation by the impact of detonation wave superimposed cutting column shell by using the finite element calculation software AUTODYN-3D,and the range of the structural parameters of the regulator that can achieve the cutting effect of column shell was found out,and the verification test was carried out.The results show that the effective fragment generation rate gradually increases from a certain value to 100% with the increase of the ratio of inner and outer charge thickness, the increase of the regulator thickness and the decrease of the number of grooves. When the ratio of the inner and outer charge thickness is 5,the regulator thickness is 10 mm or 15 mm and there are 8 or 12 grooves, the effective fragment has a high average mass while the generation rate reaches 100% .The recovery rate of the well test is 96.3%,the effective fragment generation rate is 100%,the average length and width of the fragment are 39.75 mm and 14.2 mm respectively, and the deviations with the simulation results are 6.25% and 11.25% respectively. The research results of this article can provide reference ideas for the design of intelligent selectable fragmentation warheads.
