Aiming at the problems of low efficiency,chatter and serious dust pollution of carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP)robot edge milling,a new dual robot laser edge milling method is proposed.By using DELMIA finite element simulation software,the trajectory planning of laser composite milling of dual robot is realized,and the collision of dual robot is effectively avoided.A comparative experiment of dual robot laser combined edge milling with robot edge milling is carried out.The experimental results show that compared with robot edge milling,laser composite edge milling significantly reduces the milling force,the average reduction is 27.63%,the milling quality is effectively improved,the milling inlet and surface damage is reduced by 38.45%and 21.95%respectively.
