Energy output characteristics of underwater explosion under different experimental conditions
The aim of this study is to improve the energy output of underwater explosions. The influence of experimental conditions on the underwater explosion characteristics are investigated by the experimental research conducted on how the charge quantity and experimental water area affect specific shock wave energy, specific bubble energy, and explosive energy output structure.Based on the characteristics of detonation products,a compressible flow field underwater explosion bubble pulsation model considering boundary effects is proposed.Numerical calculations are conducted on the underwater explosion bubble pulsation process, and the underwater explosion energy output characteristics are summarized combined with the experimental research.Furthermore, the similarity of underwater explosion characteristics is analyzed. The results indicate that the results of underwater explosion tests with large charges in large limited water bodies can be approximately directly mapped to infinite water bodies, reflecting the actual underwater explosion characteristics.
