Classification of parasitic nematodes in pine trees in China
There are 46 known species of parasitic nematodes in pine trees in China have been recorded, which belong to 17 genera of 9 families in 3 orders. The number of species in order Aphelenchida was the largest, with a total of 40 known species, including Bursaphelenchus and Aphelenchus of Aphelenchidae; Ektapheknchus, Cryptaphelenchus and Ektaphelenchoides of Ektaphelenchidae; Seinura of Seinuridae. Six known species belong to order Tylenchida, including Ditylenchus of Anguinidae; Cylindrotylenchus of Nothotylenchidae; Pararotylenchus of Hoplolaimidae; Hemicycliophora and Criconemella of Criconematidae. There was one unknown species in Dorylaimida. A key for 46 species of pine nema-tode was constructed based on the morphologic characteristics of different order,genera and species.
